How much can I earn with Hammer Down?
You as a Owner/Operator determine your availability and flexibility along with a solid work ethic your earning potential could be as follows:
Cargo Van: $600-$1800 Weekly, $30,000-$69,000 Annually
12′-18′ Straight Truck: $800-$2,000 Weekly, $50,000-$78,000 Annually
20′-24′ Straight Truck: $1,600-$3,200 Weekly, $65,000-$100,000 Annually
Where does Hammer Down operate?
United States and Canada
Does Hammer Down use satellite tracking?
No. Communication between Driver and Dispatch is done solely by cell phone.
Do I have to Escrow?
No. Escrow accounts are not used by Hammer Down, although, we do hold back your first three weeks of pay.
When do you pay?
Once a week, as long as we receive your B.O.L.’s by Saturday.
General Information
Cell Phone: You should already have a cell phone when signing on with us.
Signs: Signs will be provided by Hammer Down. There is no cost to you for these signs as long as you complete your 90 day probation period. A $150.00 (subject to change) fee will be deducted if you leave Hammer Down before 90 days.
Drug Screening: Hammer Down will set an appointment with our facility for your pre-lease drug screen. We will deduct $60.00 (subject to change) from a future settlement. A DOT Physical can also be completed at this time for $35.00 (subject to change) if needed.
Safety Equipment: All vehicles need to be equipped with the following:
Reflective triangles/flares, fire extinguisher, E-Trac Bars, Straps and Pads.
Orientation: Orientation is a one day event starting early morning and ending late afternoon. Have all materials ready and filled out.
Driver/Dispatch: We at Hammer Down pride ourselves on the high level of customer service we provide. This high level starts with you, the professional driver. As you know, we are only as good as our last load with a customer, so we expect our dispatchers and drivers to perform. Each owner operator shall conduct him/herself as a professional and strive to be successful in this industry.
